Dr. Guy LeBlanc,

Dr. Guy LeBlanc completed his medical degree and specialization in ophthalmology at Laval University in Quebec City. Following this, Dr. LeBlanc received subspecialized training at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts. He maintains his Quebec certification in ophthalmology.
Dr. LeBlanc is one of New Brunswick’s most experienced ophthalmic surgeons. As a pioneer in the field of cataract and refractive surgery in Atlantic Canada, Dr. LeBlanc has over 20 years of experience. He was the first ophthalmologist to use an excimer laser and perform refractive surgery in New Brunswick. He has performed over 15,000 ocular procedures, and is currently on staff at the Georges L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton. In the 1990s, Dr. LeBlanc underwent PRK surgery on both his eyes.
Accomplishments and Awards
Dr. LeBlanc recently joined the University of Moncton where he will teach ophthalmology, including cataract and refractive surgery, to medical students during the ophthalmology rotation.
